Rocky Mountaineer launches 2022 season and first full season of Rockies to the Red Rocks

The luxury train company brings its signature journeys to the US and Canada for a full operational season.

Rocky Mountaineer is thrilled to kick off the 2022 season with its luxury train journeys in Western Canada and the Southwest US. 2022 marks the first full operational season for Rocky Mountaineer’s newest route, Rockies to the Red Rocks between Denver, Colorado and Moab, Utah.

Now through October, the glass-domed trains will be traveling along Western Canada and Colorado Rockies routes, allowing guests to experience the sights and sounds of nature’s beauty from the comfort of their railcar. All of the routes will be open for the entire season.

The first departure dates for each of Rocky Mountaineer's unique journeys is outlined below.

  • April 17: Rockies to the Red Rocks (Denver - Glenwood Springs - Moab)
  • April 25: First Passage to the West (Vancouver - Kamloops - Banff)
  • April 26: Journey Through the Clouds (Vancouver - Kamloops - Jasper)
  • May 7: Rainforest to Gold Rush (Vancouver - Whistler - Quesnel - Jasper)
