Rocky Mountaineer named one of B.C.’s Top Employers for a second consecutive year

Vancouver, B.C. (February 21, 2019) – Rocky Mountaineer has been recognized as one of the best places to work in the B.C.’s Top Employers competition, for a second consecutive time.

Rocky Mountaineer has a full-time workforce of more than 300 people located at head office in Vancouver, the rail yard in Kamloops, and globally in outside sales roles. This figure increases to more than 800 people during the train’s operating season from April to October with positions added onboard the trains and in Vancouver, Kamloops, Whistler, Quesnel and the Canadian Rockies at the overnight destinations. The seasonal roles are highly coveted with an exceptional employee retention rate of 72 per cent returning team members each season.
