Chief Executive Officer

Tristan is the Chief Executive Officer of Rocky Mountaineer and the President and CEO of Major Rock Corporation, the Armstrong family's corporate office. This includes the majority shares of the award-winning Rocky Mountaineer luxury train company; Invictus Properties, a real estate investment business; and Alder Bay Equity Partners, a private equity firm.

Sherry Tryssenaar is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC with more than 25 years of finance and executive management experience across a diverse range of industries.

Monique Gomel has over 20 years of marketing experience across a number of global iconic brands. With a proven track record of growing sales through new product launches, brand repositioning and new market expansion, she has been recognized for award winning creative strategy and execution in both North American and Global markets.

Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer

Brian has over 20 years of experience, having worked throughout his career in the tourism industry. Prior to joining Rocky Mountaineer, Brian spent many years at the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort in a variety of roles in HR and operations.

Ashley Wright

Vice President, Revenue Maximization

Ashley brings over 15 years of experience in the Canadian tourism and hospitality industry to Rocky Mountaineer. She began her career in sales roles at hotels such as Sandman and Group Germain, before moving to Pursuit Collection.

Vice President, Operations

Court first joined Rocky Mountaineer as a Station Manager in Banff and Jasper in 2005, before becoming a Regional Manager in BC and Alberta. After a decade of managing airports, airport operations and product, Court rejoined Rocky Mountaineer in 2019 and is now Vice President, Operations and Chief Safety Officer.

Vice President, Communications, Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations

Nicole is responsible for leading the company’s global integrated communications, stakeholder relations and sustainability strategies. In this role, Nicole strengthens the company’s reputation by guiding internal, external, and executive communications, along with social impact and sustainability initiatives to deliver meaningful impact in the communities where the business operates.

Vice President, Global Sales

Violet has more than 20 years of sales experience with strong relationships among global trade partners and a wealth of experience in systematically driving sales growth. She leads the global sales team with team members operating in each of Rocky Mountaineer’s core regions.
