"Peace of Mind" Policy

In recognition of any travel concerns that our guests and partners may have, Rocky Mountaineer Vacations is pleased to introduce a “Peace of Mind” policy designed to provide flexibility and confidence for all concerned.
Effective immediately and until further notice, Rocky Mountaineer Vacations will allow guests to change their booking 72 hours in advance of the first day of the original travel date to a later travel date provided that a new date is given at that time.
Guests are not required to provide a specific reason for the change however this change must be made through their current travel professional (as applicable). Travelers are eligible to rebook for tour departures up to June 30, 2008. Should the cost of the new tour be higher than the current booking due to the dates chosen or other changes, guests are required to pay the difference. Date change is subject to availability.
Please note: This policy is not applicable for vacation packages including flights, service onboard VIA Rail, or accommodation at a Lodge or Ranch. The policy does not therefore apply to the following Packages:
- Trans Canada Rail Adventure
- Northern Rail Journey
- Coast to Coast by Rail
- Northern Coast to Coast by Rail
- Totem Rail Explorer
- Cowboys Castles and Coast
- Lodges of the North
- Spectacular Canada Lodge, Ranch and Wildlife Experiences
Airfares will be subject to applicable airline rules and change fees or cancellation fees may apply.
